MESSAGE FROM H.Ε. CHAIRMAN & CEO

Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP), one of Cambodia’s two international ports, plays a vital role in the nation’s economic growth and logistics infrastructure. The port has undergone significant developments, including the transformation of TS3 Terminal into a dedicated tourist port, which has helped reduce city traffic by moving the cargo port 30 kilometers away.

Our aim is to reduce environmental impact and decrease the volume of road trucking in the city. The port encourages inland waterway transportation, which is more environmentally friendly and better supports the government’s Funan Techo canal project, linking the inland waterway from the capital to the sea directly.

PPAP’s recent infrastructure advancements include seven terminals which were given green light by the government and the implementation of a terminal operation system that efficiently controls container movements. Besides, one of our future plan is to create a trucking management app to further streamline logistics. By controlling the whole chain, from the port to the customer’s warehouse, we can offer a more effective solution.

Looking ahead, PPAP is committed to sustainability, with plans to transition to green energy for all machineries and conservation projects in the lands surrounding its facilities. Cambodia is full of potential, thus, we focus on expending our services and welcoming foreign investment, and as the world gets to know us with increased recognition on the global stage, we are committed to grow and develop.

Introduction

PHNOM PENH AUTONOMOUS PORT (PPAP) is one of the international ports in Cambodia located along the Mekong River and Tonle Sap with an excellent transport network infrastructure that connects the port to the hinterland. PPAP plays a vital role in facilitating the country’s international trade and fostering national economic development through enabling the seamless movement of goods across borders. The port can accommodate the docking of medium-sized general cargo sea-going vessels, container barges, river tankers, and river cruises from other countries. In addition, the port can handle an extensive range of commodities, from raw materials to finished products with the connectivity of goods being transshipped at Cat Lai Port for intra-Asia and at Cai Mep Hub Port for the United States and Europe.

Vision

PPAP’s vision is to maintain its leadership as the main player in the Mekong shipping business and serve as an essential link in maritime shipping by effectively and efficiently connecting the country’s international trade with overseas partners.

Mission

The mission of PPAP is to manage, develop, and operate port facilities and provide core and related services for the sustainable economic growth and social prosperity of Cambodia.
