The Current Progress and the Development Plans of Sub-feeder Multipurpose Terminals of PPAP along the rivers
1. Sub-Feeder Multipurpose Terminal Tonle Bet-UM2
1.1 Layout for the development projects of Sub-Feeder Multipurpose Terminal Tonle Bet-UM2 Phase I
Sub-feeder Multipurpose terminal UM2 is located in Tonle Bet commune, Tbong Khmum Province, which is close to the border between Kompong Cham and Tbong Khmum Province. This port is a key player in connecting provinces on the north with those on northeast of Cambodia, which is an important area for transporting agricultural and agro-industrial products to people on the southern part of Cambodia and to those that reside in Vietnam. For that reason, PPAP has devised a phase-by-phase plan with phase-one requiring with the following key infrastructures:
- Quay with a dimension of 12mx49m
- Construction and installment of 1 FCC
- Construction of a container yard
- Reefer plugs for refrigerated containers
- Entrance/exit gate
